Having a Blast in San Blas, Panama!

I was supposed to be getting ready to leave for Panama but you know pandemic 🤷🏾‍♀️ ⁣

So let’s all take a virtual tour of my number 1 day trip recommendation when visiting Panama City, Panama.

If given the opportunity, you must venture to the San Blas Islands for a day of sun and fun. There are two ways to reach there from Panama City: flying, which is the easy way, and driving/boating, which is the difficult yet adventurous way. ⁣

I can’t even tell you what “tour company” we used because our friend referred us to his friend who happened to be a guide. It’s a popular destination though so you’ll definitely find someone to take you.⁣

Our journey started with an early morning wake up around 5 am, then a 4 hour BUMPY ride that eventually led us into the jungle. We even encountered a bear crossing the road on the way (like I said, adventure!). ⁣

Once we made it to the port, there were thousands of other people waiting to take their boat over. It was a small speedboat, nothing fancy but definitely exhilarating as the water sprayed up next to you and the forceful winds reminded you of what it means to be alive! ⁣

After such a long journey, your tired eyes are rewarded with sights of the most beautiful turquoise waters and you are convinced that you have reached paradise. You spend the day literally jumping in and out of that little boat as you island hop, consume fresh fish, and visit a mesmerizing sandbar. ⁣

It was the BEST part of my trip to Panama. Also, do not leave Panama City without visiting El Caribe. They have the best oxtails and coconut rice and peas, trust me. Hope you enjoyed this virtual tour 😊⁣

Have you been to San Blas? Where’s the most beautiful water you’ve ever seen? Besides San Blas, I have to say Turks and Caicos.

My swimsuit is from the GabiFresh x Swimsuits for All collection in 2018 and no longer available. However, I have linked suits from her current collection here:
